The Native Blues Band boasts, “Over 500 Years of the Blues,” Combining traditional blues and Rock n Roll with a unique Native American perspective, Native Blues is already Southern California’s premier Native contemporary band. Having performed on the entire west coast, with performances extending into the southwest region, the Native Blues musicians are sweeping the country with hard hitting commentaries, poignant moments of reflection, romantic interludes and hilarious portrayals of present day life.

The four piece ensemble is comprised of musicians, who each in their own right have achieved recognition. By uniting their talents, their performances are perfect for concert and club/dancing situations.

Drummer , Vince Duro , (Serrano Tribe) from the San Manual Indian Reservation in San Bernardino County. Vince is an accomplished drummer and graduate of the Los Angeles Music Academy. Drum Master, Ralph Humphry and Joe Pocaro were among his teachers. He has been playing for approximately 19 years and adds Native Blues to his lengthy list of projects.

Bass and Backing Vocals Harold Hill, aka BIG H (Diegueno/Chippewa) hails from the Barona Indian Reservation in San Diego County lays the foundation with bass guitar and backing vocals to Native Blues. He has been playing with the Native Blues Band for 9 years, and his musical capabilities speak for themselves.

Lead/rhythm guitarist Ben Domingo (Chukchansi Tribe) has an innate sense of the blues, allowing him to energize and accent the Native Blues sound in a completely magical way. He has been playing with the Native Blues Band for 10 years.

Front man lead vocalist, Tracy Lee Nelson (Luiseño/Diegueño Tribe) emerges from the La Jolla Indian Reservation in San Diego’s North County. Tracy unique voice, original lyrics and blues guitar work comes straight from the heart, bellowing out stories and issues that should have been spoken of long ago, 30 years of experience has given Tracy the honor of being mentioned in NATIVE PEOPLE MAGAZINE as one of the finest up and coming artists of the year.
